SchoolBOX Latin Fiesta!

SchoolBOX welcomes past volunteers and supporters to celebrate at the 9th Annual Latin Fiesta in Almonte on Friday October 3, 2014.

This year’s fiesta is going to be a very special event. The entire SchoolBOX family is planning to come out for what feels like a SchoolBOX homecoming. It is confirmed that SchoolBOX Director, Ronald Chavarria, will be coming all the way from Nicaragua for the ‘fiesta’. SchoolBOX will also celebrate the impending arrival of Founder Tom Affleck and Executive Director Sarah Kerr’s baby (the newest SchoolBOX team member!).

Many SchoolBOX Board members – some coming from as far as Toronto and Calgary will be joining us as well. It should be a lively night of salsa dancing and amazing music from the Ottawa Band ‘Azucar Jam’. Join the festivities and take the incredible opportunity to reunite with the whole SchoolBOX community.

We welcome everyone to come out to learn about how the ‘friendly town’ of Almonte is literally ‘Making Education Possible’ for thousands of children and defeating poverty in Nicaragua.
